Haha. More to go French intervention? My personal favourite. Haha SiYuan at 10:11 PM The Man Utd - Chelsea game in pictures and captions. Look. Essien's waist. Look Gabs! haha England's Captain? Nah he wouldnt't do that. Um.. so.. who touched him? Ooh. Excellent diving tackle by John Terry.. Oh wait.. SiYuan at 11:31 PM This is a really uncharacteristic post by me. But I think you'll see more of this in the coming days. I really feel a need to write this. it's been inside me for a quite a while. You see, everyday, when I'm on the train, or the bus. I see the faces of many people. Everyone seems to be in their own world, those alone anyway. I see the faces of students, housewives, business people, workers, maids, and people who just dont' have anything much to do. I see the same face all the time. It's always the same. Accompanied by the monotonous "brring" by the bus, or the high pitched screech by the train. I see in their faces, a life as boring as the bus. Start of day, earn some money, maybe get into a little drama. End of day, return home and sleep. Are you, my readers, really content with your life? I'd bet with you, bar abuse and some unpreventable stuff, you were content with the first 7 years of your life. Then, you could do anything you wanted to. And you carried this childish behavior to your first touch of real life, society. And I mean childish in a positive manner. It really isnt' bad being childish actually. There always seems to be a rare case of a bright and shining one on the commuters I see. No this isnt a reference to Stardust or any shows. But they actually fulfill something, that day anyway. Or they realize what is important to this topic I'm talking about today. They actually achieve it, part of it anyway. They achieve their dreams. Everyone has dreams. Everyone. It just pains me to see dreams getting dashed. I won't want mine to be. It's like, someone's taking your imaginary lollipop away. One which you have been savouring for quite a while. Having this feeling it's going to come to you soon. And hit the wall which is reality. However, does it have to be that way all the time? Look around you, some people say " Dreaming is the first step to achievement". Or "Without dreams, life wouldn't be the same". And I emphasize on the last one heavily. Without dreams, your life will be dead. And I really mean it. You wouldn't have much of a purpose to live on, at least on a non-religious way now. I really dont' want to post it on my viewpoint as a Christian, as I feel that it would mess up with what I want to say, and probably there would be some bias. One day, everyone of you should go get a look at yourself. Have you achieved your dream? Pursue it. Pursue it relentlessly if you still can. That's what the older and wiser ones always say. And it isnt a coincedence that everyone seems to sprout the same rubbish. Unless some people silenced the rest. I shall talk about the brick wall everyone faces now. That is, whether you were born with the "materials" to create the "building", which is what you want, what you desire, what you dream of. Some people have told me, if you weren't born with it, you probably can't make it. Well. From that ideology, you're looking at a maximum potential capacity viewpoint. That means there's a limit in which you can go to, and that limit differs from people to people. You can't change it, medically, surgically(are they the same thing?) or spiritually. Though some claim that you can actually ask for it. Then there's the other viewpoint, which the major sports brands, and those who actually made it try to sell to us. Look, I'm not for any side of the conflict between the two points. They seemingly claim that with hard work, and I mean really hard work. Work that pushes you to the point where you seem to lose focus on everything, but your work. Where you push your body to the limit, close to death. Now that's hard work. Where you do repetition after repetition, where a thousand seems look like one. I really want to believe in that. I really want to. I know that I havent' even reached my MPC(maximum bla bla). I want to know that my potential is boundless. I want to know my progress will not be halted. There will not be a plataeu. And If there is, it's just a temporary rest stage, where I will shatter through and emerge the better. I really pray for that. Whichever ideology is right, I wouldnt know. Until I have achieved something, or come to a sudden realization, shout Eureka and run into the streets naked. But however, to all who are reading, I urge you to pursue your dream. Because you stand to have nothing to lose. When you work for something, it really isnt' the end product that profits you the most, it is the process. Where you build your character, and everything. Right now, I am trying to do so. Character building is really hard. Really really hard. Especially when you have a foundation made of paper. That's all folks Good Night. SiYuan at 1:45 AM |
